Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) The Twin falls Planning and Zoning Department held public meetings Wednesday to discuss possible changes to several city codes.

The proposed changes would affect city codes related to off street parking at new restaurants and businesses. There would also be changes to requirements for drive thrus. The changes would not impact existing restaurants and businesses.

"Some of the significant changes that we're probably going to see are parking requirements for various uses. The ones that see it probably the most are restaurants and medical offices particularly," said Mitch Humble, Community Development Director.

The next step in the code and zoning ordinance changes will be a public hearing with the planning and zoning committee. Following that the proposed changes will be taken to the twin falls city council.
