Colorado authorities search for shooting suspect, after cell phone pinged in area

Twin Falls, Idaho - Other law enforcement agencies have gotten involved in the hunt for a shooting suspect out of Twin Falls; according to television station KKCO out of Grand Junction, Colorado, the Mesa County Sheriff's Department is on the hunt for 30 year old Thomas Trevino who is wanted in connection with the shooting that happened Monday at the Comfort Inn hotel in Twin Falls.

Mesa County Sheriff Deputies are currently searching the area around Grand Junction; according to reports, Twin Falls authorities were able to ping Trevino's cell phone and quickly called Colorado authorities to enlist their help.

Trevino is wanted for the shooting of as of yet unidentified 24 year old woman.

Trevino is Hispanic, stands about 5' 10", weighs 170 pounds and has numerous tattoos on both arms and upper body.

Trevino is considered dangerous and may be armed.
