Commissioners Pass Resolution Over Sheriff's Overtime Pay

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) The Twin Falls County Commissioners passed a resolution this morning regarding the Sheriff's Office overtime pay and comp time limit.

Deputies can obtain overtime or comp time for the hours they work over their normal hours. Today's purpose was to buy that down because many were carrying more than what the current County policy allowed.

"This allowed us to get down the working normal hours that a person is supposed to have in their bank or they can obtain in their bank and gets it to where we can actually schedule people to work instead of them wanting to constantly take time off and bring that down," said Captain Tim Miller of the Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office.

The commissioners also considered the Intermountain Hospital Contract and an agreement for pathology services with Ada County.
