By KMVT News

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Many local residents aren't aware of all the resources and services available in the community.

That's why the Community Partnerships in Action event is a big draw each and every year.

A free barbecue is provided, while locals find out about job training, drug awareness, education and much more.

Nearly 80 organizations were represented at the Twin Falls City Park on Saturday.

SCCAP's Jenny Randolph explains, "we have affordable housing, veterans services, all kinds of things for people to come and see."

South Central Community Action Partnership's vision is to empower locals to overcome the causes and effects of poverty.
