Congressman Mike Simpson Speaks About Healthcare Reform
Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Congressman Mike Simpson spoke at a town hall luncheon today in Twin Falls.
The topic of discussion was healthcare reform. Congressman Simpson led a discussion on the new developments surfacing from federal health care reform legislation. Simpson spoke to magic valley residents about the impacts the health care reform could have. “Well that Obama Care is the law of the land and it’s going to be enacted and the majority of the democratic majority of the senate got re-elected so we’re going to have to start working with,” said Congressman Mike Simpson. The meeting also addressed Governor Otter’s recent announcement regarding a state exchange. Congressman Simpson also answered the audience’s various questions ranging from taxes to balancing the budget. The luncheon was sponsored by the Southern Idaho Association of Health Underwriters.
