By KMVT News

Burley, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Congressman Mike Simpson is hitting the campaign trail.

This afternoon he made a stop in the Magic Valley.

His goal is to get the message out that he represents the people of Idaho, is conservative and votes conservative.

One of the key topics discussed was the EPA regulations on water rights and how they impose on our economy.

He also spoke about government spending and had an in depth discussion on Obamacare.

"The Magic Valley is obviously important in this election. It's one of the population centers, if you will, and it's always been very supportive of me and here to talk to folks about what's going on in Washington,” Simpson explains.
