County Commissioner Plans To Run For Fourth Term
Jerome, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) A longtime county commissioner is announcing his plans to run for a fourth term.
Charles Howell is the District Two Representative.
This will be his fourth time running for that seat.
We spoke with him before today's press conference...
And asked him what led him to run for a fourth term...
"I want to keep going. I mean the people are what make it worthwhile. The struggle during the week is kind of tough but the people make it all worthwhile, the compliments, the suggestions, the ideas... even the disagreements. It all makes it worthwhile and makes it fun," he explains.
To date, Howell says his biggest accomplishment in office is the recently passed Jerome County jail.
As for what's next for the commissioner...
If re-elected... he would like to continue the development of the proposed North Rim Park.
