Severe Weather Causes Accidents In The Magic Valley

UPDATE: Jerome and Lincoln Counties (KMVT-TV) Winter weather played a factor in several accidents this evening in Jerome and Lincoln counties.

One of those accidents involved two vehicles colliding on Highway 93 near milepost 60 at 4:45.

A white GMC was headed north, when the driver lost control and headed into the southbound lanes.

The truck struck a Chevy pickup that was headed south. Four people were transported to the hospital.

Motorists had to deal with blowing snow and low visibility in this area.

Then around 5:20, a motorist lost control of her car on 420 North Road and went off the roadway. She sustained a back injury and needed to be transported.

ORIGINAL STORY: Jerome, Idaho (KMVT-TV) The weather is making for slick conditions in Jerome County. Two vehicles collided at milepost 60 on Highway 93.

According to Jerome County Sheriff Doug McFall, there were injuries, but the extent of those is unknown at this time.

Crews are also en route to an injury accident at 400 North in Jerome County, just four miles north of the city.
