Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Millions of Americans are shopping from their office or the comforts of their own home today. Cyber Monday has escalated in popularity and culminates the long holiday shopping weekend.

Kimberly resident Lois Nannini stops by Best Buy in Twin Falls to have her i–pad fixed. See it caused quite a dilemma Monday morning.

Nannini explains, "I woke up this morning ready to shop and my i–pad wouldn't connect so I rushed in, actually my husband rushed me in he's a really good sport and I've been sitting for any hour while they fixed it. I couldn't afford to leave it because it's Cyber Monday and I have to go home."

She has her favorite sites....

"Amazon in my favorite, they have my credit cards."

And she isn't the only one.

131 million shoppers plan to shop with either their smartphone or computer on Cyber Monday. That's up from 129 million in 2012.

Ben Knowles of Jerome adds, "I actually heard about it yesterday, but my computer crashed yesterday so then I was just looking to see if I could find anything."

Jonathan Holt, a logistics team lead at Target says of the company that there "a lot of great bargains online, clothing items where you buy one get one 60%, great one time discount on electronics."

But shopping online has its disadvantages.

Kersten Resz says, "especially with clothing items, if they don't' fit you have to return it. I'm not a big fan of shipping things back. I rather try it on, know it works, or if I am buying for someone here, locally, they can bring it back."

Plus, Resz has big plans to spend her hard earned money.

"I am saving my money Saturday I leave for San Francisco to watch the 49ers Seahawks game so it's not a good time."

Although this Seahawks fan is not partaking in the festivities...

Retail experts predict consumers will spend just shy of $1.8 billion on Cyber Monday.

Looking ahead, hundreds of retailers will participate in the annual free shipping day which is December 18th. That's guaranteed delivery by Christmas.
