Jerome, Idaho (KMVT-TV) - One local branch of D.L. Evans Bank celebrated a grand re–opening this afternoon over at their Jerome location.

14 years ago D.L. Evans Bank opened up for the first time in Jerome County.

But with the population growth the City of Jerome has seen since then, it was no surprise that owners felt the city deserved a much larger and much more convenient location for their customers to do their banking.

Over the past few month construction crews have been working nonstop to make that dream of a new bank a possibility.

And that all came to an end this evening with a grand re–opening of the branch located at 980 South Lincoln in Jerome.

“We just appreciate the support of Jerome County and the City of Jerome and this whole area. It’s just been supper and to build a branch like we have it’s been tremendous”.

Said D.L. Evans CEO John V. Evans.

To help celebrate the grand re–opening a special block party style celebration was held with food and drinks for anyone who show up.

And to top it all off a ceremonial ribbon cutting was held to make the newly remolded bank official.
