By Brittany Cooper

Jerome, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Tonight we introduce you to the fourth and final candidate running for Jerome mayor.

David Davis has worked for Farmers National Bank for the last 15 years and prior to that the USDA.

He is a 23–year resident of Jerome and shares with us his vision for the city.

Davis says, "my concerns are taxes and user fees are high, I would like to see the expenses in the city reduced and I would propose that the new city administrator and city staff prepare a plan to the city council on how they're going to reduce the expenditures of the city."

Davis wants the city to hire an Economic Development Director, one who understands marketing and incentive plans to drive business to Jerome.

As a result, he says it will increase the tax base and in turn, taxes will decrease.

If you would like to meet the candidates, plan on being at the Jerome City Library Thursday evening at 7 p.m.
