Day 2: Operation Facelift Judging
Jerome, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Day two of judging for operation facelift is underway.
Representatives from the Southern Idaho Economic Development Organization and the Southern Idaho Rural Development were in Jerome Tuesday. The organizations will rate the buildings to see which one made the biggest improvement. But, Jerome city leaders say the benefits of the operation provide the city with much more. "Of the four buildings we did last year, all four were vacant. This year we have two new building owners with two new businesses in those buildings," said Jon Melone, Executive Director, Jerome Chamber of Commerce. KMVT has pledged a $1,000 media prize for each winner from ten cities. That prize includes the production of an on–air advertisement that will air on KMVT, the CW and the new Fox 14.
