'Death By Chocolate' Returns Once Again

Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV) Chocolate lovers unite! There's an event next week that will be sure to satisfy taste buds.

It's time once again for the Twin Falls Rotary Club's Death by Chocolate.

Each vendor is expected to bring in one–thousand pieces of candy for about 25,000 total pieces.

For the last seven years, the event has grossed approximately $160,000.

Half of the proceeds will go to local charities while the other half benefits the Main Avenue Splash Park and Plaza.

"It's like a cocktail party with chocolate honestly. People have a great time, they really do. It's probably because they're happy, chocolate makes you happy I guess, the endorphins or something, the sugar high, I don't know," Jill Skeem, Twin Falls Rotary.

Death by Chocolate will be next Thursday, January 31st. The event runs from 6-9 p.m. at Canyon Crest Dining and Events Center.

There will be overflow parking this year with shuttles leaving from Twin Falls Dialysis Center and Farmers National Bank.

Tickets are 15–dollars each or you can purchase them at the door for 20. You can also purchase tickets from Kurt's Pharmacy, the Twin Falls Chamber and The Mail Room or www.twinfallsrotary.org.
