Defendant In Child Sex Abuse Case Dies Before Sentencing
Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Two and a half months ago, a jury decided that Steven Virgil Anderson, 59, was guilty of child sexual abuse charges.
Those charges included five counts of lewd conduct with a child under the age of 16, two counts of intimidating a witness, and one count of sexual abuse of a minor. Anderson was scheduled to be sentenced in a Twin Falls County Courtroom at 1:30 p.m. today, but Anderson died a week ago. He had been under house arrest while wearing an ankle bracelet until his sentencing today. The case has been closed because of Anderson's death. Aug. 13, 2012. Comments ( |
