Dreams Come True For Kids Fundraiser This Weekend

By Brittany Cooper

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) The community has the chance to help disadvantaged children and one of America's heros.

Saturday marks the third annual fundraiser for the Dreams Come True Camp for Kids.

The group takes terminally ill children and disadvantaged families on hunting and camping trips. A big bonus this year, is the organizers want to take local wounded warrior Bo Jones on an elk hunting trip.

The group works with families from all over the country.

"Our wishes are to make this thing grow to where we're taking six to eight and as many kids as we can afford to take on a hunting or fishing trip of a lifetime," says Don Jesser, Dreams Come True Camp for Kids.

The event is being held at the 360 Event Center in Twin Falls. Doors open at 5 p.m. Dinner is at 7 p.m. with the live auction beginning at 8.
There is a donation of $10.
