Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) The Idaho Transportation Department advises drivers to drive safely and cautiously.
With winter finally arriving, southern Idaho is expected to get 4 to 8 inches of snow Thursday through Saturday.
Although roads may seem clear, there is potential for blowing and drifting snow and black ice.
Nathan Jerke of the Idaho Transportation Department suggests to go at your own speed…
“Don't let everybody else set the pace for you. You drive what you feel is safe for you and your vehicle, and let other people do the unsafe practices, but you make sure you drive safe for yourself.”
The snow will continue through Saturday...areas outside of the Magic Valley could see anywhere between 1 to 2 feet of snow.
