Jerome, Idaho (KMVT-TV) This Wednesday the Jerome Chamber held their monthly luncheon and discussed a new organization designed to bring more business and jobs into Jerome County.
Over the past 8 months representatives from both the local and private business sectors of Jerome County have been working hard to start a new Economic Development Organization that will work to sell the county to new industry.
On Wednesday representatives from the newly formed Jerome 20/20 Organization made their way to the Jerome Best Western and took it as an opportunity to discuss the future plans for the new formed organization.
"This is the first time that we have had the opportunity to explain what were about and what we are trying to do. And that is bringing economic development to Jerome County. Were here to do business, were not here to talk about it, and were here to make something happen." Said Jerome 20/20 representative Joe Davidson.
The 20/20 Organization still in the very early stages of its existence.
Starting next week, the group plans to get together and elect a director who will then take on the task of bring more business and jobs to the county.
