Filer, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) If one thing best represents the spirit of the Twin Falls County Fair it would have to be the Idaho Ag Pavilion.
With over 59 exhibits from 54 different organizations the Ag Pavilion, which is sponsored by the Food Producers of Idaho, has everything you need.
With more and more generations moving off the farms and into the cities.
Officials want those younger generations to never forget where their roots are based.
And here in Southern Idaho those roots are cemented deep in the soil.
That's why this year, when you enter the Ag Pavilion officials are offering you the opportunity to take part in a fun and educational information scavenger hunt.
"So as people enter we offer them what we call and activity sheet. They're going to go around and find 10 bright red barn that has a fact. We think those are what we call elevator speeches that people can say tell me about agriculture in your state and then they can just begin visiting about those things. Whether adult or children they can participate in the activity and then receive a prize"
Said Rick Waitley from the Food Producers of Idaho
Along with the educational value of the pavilion, there are lots of activities and games for the kids to take part in.
The Ag Pavilion is located in the center of the fair grounds, just south of the food.
It's open from 10 to 10 each day.
