Eighth Grader Raising Turkeys For Mission
Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) One local eighth grader from Burley wanted to help out this Thanksgiving. She organized a Turkey Fundraiser.
"Everything like just came together, more then last time it was just like my my mom and my dad and now it's like the whole community is helping and it's not just me," said Ashlynn Carver. The two hundred and fifty turkeys she raised will go to the Helping Hands Mission in Burley. The turkeys will then be distributed to families across the mini cassia area. Local businesses also chipped in by donating storage space for the turkeys. Comments ( |
