Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) The Twin Falls Salvation Army is looking for volunteers.
The organization will be holding an introduction and free training for its emergency disaster services program.
When tragedy strikes, the Salvation Army relies upon trained disaster workers to coordinate emergency relief operations and deliver fast, efficient service to survivors.
"We got a grant to increase our emergency disaster committee, which is for volunteers around the Southern Idaho area. We are trying to build that committee up so if a disaster happens we can call all those people in that area first and start preparing when we get the call," explains Eddie Patterson, Twin Falls Salvation Army.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer and part of the free training call 420-0190.
