Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV) While you're watching the biggest game of the year, make sure you're mindful of little children in the room.
Every three weeks, a child dies from a tv tipping over on them and thousands are injured each year.
Safe Kids USA released this video showing the common dangers a tv can present when kids are around.
They advise checking the stability of all tvs around the house, especially if they're on a stand or piece of furniture. They recommend mounting flat screen televisions to the wall.
The organization's belief is dramas should be on tv, not because of them.
"It's hard because you've got company and you've got a lot of people around, but it's some important at the same time," adds Page Geske, Safe Kids Magic Valley.
Geske, a Safe Kids advocate wore pink nail polish on her pinky this weekend, in honor of Amaya.
The two year–old wanted to watch a dvd and used a cabinet drawer to climb up to the tv and put it in the player. That's when the tv toppled over, instantly killing her.
