Fatal Stabbing began with Fist Fight

Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) A fatal stabbing early Saturday morning started with a fist fight according to Twin Falls County Prosecutor Grant Loebs. Twenty four year old Jeremiah Piaz died from stab wounds after the altercation at Canyon Crest Dining and Event Center.

Twin Falls Police arrested twenty one year old Cayde Lish on charges of voluntary manslaughter. The Prosecutor's Office is reviewing police and witness statements to decide on charges for Lish.

Loebs told us that if he's charged, he'll be arraigned at the Twin Falls County Courthouse at 1 pm tomorrow. Loebs and Twin Falls Police are looking for more witnesses. If you have any information, you're asked to call the Twin Falls Police Department at 735–4357.
