Featherville And Pine Residents May Be Evacuated
Elmore County, Idaho (KMVT-TV) An evacuation order may be coming for Featherville and Pine residents. Officials are recommending that residents pack personal papers, photos, prescriptions and make arrangements for pets.
The sheriff will handle the timeline and start the evacuation. A community meeting will be held at 10:30 this morning at the Pine Senior Center for residents. You can stay informed by calling the fire information line at 653-2164 or the Sheriff's Office at 587-2100. Property owners will be allowed access from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. today to retrieve valuables. You will need to provide proof of residence to gain access to the area. Only immediate family members will be allowed to accompany residents. At 9 p.m. all roads leading into town will be closed except for fire and emergency vehicles. Comments ( |
