Fifth Annual Quilt Walk
Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) The fifth annual Quilt Walk was held in downtown Twin Falls on Friday and Saturday. In addition to the Quilt Walk, downtown businesses came together to add an urban market and craft vendors. Both new and vintage quilts were on display throughout the downtown business district.
Lisa Fairbanks is one of the event organizers. “All year long the ladies in the local quilt guild quilted quilts to show at this show and this year we not only have new quilts, but we have a lot of old vintage quilts from a lady's private collection here in town." Downtown businesses sold quilt walk t-shirts which help fund the annual event. Local artist Michele Hamilton designed this year's quilt walk logo. The event organizers tell us that the urban market was a success and hope to continue the market each year during the quilt walk. Comments ( |
