UPDATE: Fire Burning Near Ketchum

UPDATE: The fire burned 8-tenths of an acre. It is being called the Rooks fire as it is located near the Rooks campground. Containment happened at 8pm Thursday night while control is expected at 4pm this Friday afternoon. The fire burned mostly grass.

Ketchum, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) Fire crews are working to put out a fire in the Warm Springs Canyon west of Ketchum.

According to The Ketchum Keystone, firefighters responded around 4:30 Thursday afternoon, and they already have the fire under control.

The fire was burning on a hill near Warm Springs Road, and officials say it was likely human-caused.

There is no word yet on the amount of damage, but crews did not expect any structures to be threatened.
