Firefighters Raising Money For Local Cancer Patients
Burley, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Local firefighters are raising money and awareness about cancer in their community.
The Burley Fire Department is selling pink cancer awareness t–shirts, hoodies and zip ups. They money they raise is donated to the Cassia Regional Medical Center to help women get mammograms, wigs and other items at the cancer center. "A lot of the cancer patients that we have in this area can't afford wigs or other stuff that they might need," said Lt. Henry Munoz, Burley Fire Department. T–shirts are twenty dollars and sweatshirts are thirty. All sizes, including youth, are available. Last year the station raised two–thousand dollars. Comments ( Most Viewed |
