Firehose Competition Draws Participants In Buhl
Buhl, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Sagebrush Days in Buhl continued Wednesday with a number of family–friendly activities.
A fan favorite had to the be the Firehose Competition.
What better way to stay cool than pointing hoses at a barrel, with water splashing down below.
The object? To force the barrel past where the other team started.
Put on by the Buhl Fire Department, the event invited kids and adults to try out the game.
The department also showcased a four–wheeler raffle as well.
"They hold this annual raffle and camp to benefit any firefighters that are hurt, or in the hospital, or their family members or hurt, but also we are starting a Burn Out Fund that we apply to people who burn out once in awhile," adds Mark Korsen, Buhl Fire Chief.
If you still want to make it out to Sagebrush Days, the rodeo begins at seven followed by fireworks at dusk.
