First Thursday Means Good Art In Burley
Burley, Idaho (KMVT-TV) - On the first Thursday of every month, a few local Burley artists open their studio doors for a unique opportunity to allow for the public to come in and view their work.
Since 2007 a hand full of devoted Painters, sculptors and photographers have been working tirelessly to bring an art world into the Mini–Cassia area.
Starting this Thursday 5 separate Artists are opening their doors from Burley to Paul.
Every month the artists like to change their focus and highlight only their best pieces.
One location in Burley is seeing an increase of interest as more and more residents are looking to broaden their artistic views.
“The first Thursday of every month since March of 2007 we’ve all had open houses. There’s about 8 of us either doing… some people work in ceramics, pottery. Sculptures, metal work. But the majority of us work on canvas.”

The five locations that will be open this Thursday include 4 locations in Burley and one in Paul.
Williams Studio is located at 401 East 16th in Burley.
Marilyn Miller's studio at 637 West 18th in Burley.
The Spring Dale School at 494 East – 200 South in Burley.
The work of Scott Razee will be located at 160 South – 250 East in Burley.
Then finally in Paul the work of Ricky Bosted will be on display at 90 South – 1050 West.
