By KMVT News

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) Patrons eating at CSI's Desert Café were treated to a flash mob performance featuring culinary and hospitality students.

The group danced to the song "Happy" by Pharrell Williams.

Thursday is the International Day of Happiness, and the music artist is partnering with the United Nations Foundation to celebrate the occasion.

The students are putting together a YouTube video with today's performance, in the hopes of landing on Williams’ site, 24 Hours of Happiness.

There's no monetary prize; CSI is just doing it for fun.

"They're happy students and they love what they do. What better way to show them off, get some release. It's a busy day to get them to dance; the music is upbeat and they had a good time. A lot of times culinary, it's hard work. This gave them a chance to laugh and smile," explains CSI instructor Dianne Jolovich.

Thursday the producer will showcase the best submissions at noon in each time zone.
