Boise, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - Boise Police say they have taken a 24 year old resident into custody following charges that he stole from residents of a senior center. Police say Jeremiah T. Villanueva was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Grand Theft. He is accused of the theft of items from a West Boise Senior center over the last several months. Boise Police detectives conducted a detailed investigation into the theft of items including jewelry and cash from multiple apartments within the complex. Evidence obtained by Boise detectives indicates the suspect, who was an employee at the time, was involved in the theft of thousands of dollars in personal property from elderly residents. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant. Further charges in this case may be pending.
