Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV) The United Way of South Central Idaho is teaming up with local businesses to dispose of your Christmas trees.

Saturday at D.L Evans bank in Twin Falls you could drop your tree off.

Snake River Tree Service would then shred it for you free of charge.

The United Way was there accepting donations for their numerous local programs.

"This last year through thirty-five agency programs have served 84,000 people directly or indirectly," said Midge Fisher, United Way.

The United Way serves all eight counties and Jackpot by providing food, children's programs, transportation and Meals on Wheels.

Snake River Tree Service will be giving the mulch away to anyone who wants it.
