Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) - What do you get when you combine Southern Idaho with a nationally recognized gospel singer, a home schooled piano player, a talented young tenor, and the great grandson of a gospel music legend? …. You get The Blackwood Legacy Quartet live in Twin Falls.

Monday night over at the First Baptist Church of Twin Falls, one of the most successful and hardest working traveling gospel groups around played a free concert for music lovers of all ages.

The Blackwood Legacy out of Nashville Tennessee is a gospel group built on and around the legendary music of the Grammy and Dove award winning gospel group... the Blackwood Brothers Quartet.

Group founders Rick Price and Chris Blackwood formed the Legacy as a tribute to the gospel music legends.

In 2010 the quartet signed to gospel music label... Mason Records.

Under that label the group released their first album, with a second album scheduled to release later this year.

If you didn't get a chance to see Monday night’s free show, you still have one more chance to see the Blackwood Legacy live in person.

On Sunday July 1st the group will be holding another free concert at 10:30 in the morning over at the Gooding First Christian Church, located at 334 4th Avenue West in Gooding.

For more information on the show you can contact the Gooding First Christian Church at 208–934–4542.
