Full Weekend Of Fun In The Sun For Filer Fun Days
Filer, Idaho (KMVT-TV) - The annual Filer Fun Days celebration kicked off Friday afternoon with the Kiwanis Fish Fry out at the Twin Falls County Fairgrounds.
This year's annual 3 day celebration is packed full of fun activities for the whole family to enjoy.
On Friday the annual Fish Fry kicked off the celebration.
With proceeds going to many local organizations and scholarship funds in Filer.
Saturday is when the real fun will start to begin.
The day will start off with a pancake breakfast from 7 to 10 in the morning, out at the Fairgrounds.
Then at around 8 in the morning the Golden Horseshow Fun Run will start up with all of the proceeds going to the Filer High School Cross Country Team.
Then starting at 11 the "Let the Fun Begin" Parade will begin at the fairgrounds and will make its way through town.
"You know it's a lot of work but it's rewarding when you get to give away the money to a lot of the organizations that will put it to good use for our community."

The fun will continue on Saturday out at the Fairgrounds with vendors of all kinds along with a lot of free rides for the kids.
Also an indoor market will be held inside merchant building #3 from 7 in the morning to 6 in the afternoon.
Then on Sunday the celebration will come to an end with a Community Worship Service at 10:45 followed by a spaghetti lunch from noon to 2.
