Kimberly, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV )
A fun weekend filled with food, fun, music, the parade and of course community.
"Good Neighbors day has been a tradition. I grew up here it's been around since before then, it's organized by the community and just to support good will and community."
Around one hundred floats participated in the parade.
More than one thousand spectators came to watch.
"Oh yea it's great. I've actually lived here my whole life, I grew up here and then when we got married we started coming together."
After the parade spectators had a variety of events from the extraction demonstration from the Rock Creek Fire Department, to carnival food and rides.
Schroder is happy to still see this tradition going strong today in the Kimberly community .
"Kimberly is a very community oriented, family oriented and this just shows how we support families and support each other and the community."
For others it's a good chance to get in touch with community members and local businesses.
"It's a good chance for everyone around the area to come together, there's a lot of commerce going on in the park and a chance to see our local businesses."
Keeping community tradition alive and thriving today.
