Burley, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV )
For 75 years, the Goode Motor Ford continues to be a staple of the Burley community.
Owning the title of Idaho's first and oldest Ford dealership, Goode Motor Ford was introduced in 1938.
General Manager Garth Williams is a part of the successful dealership.
Says Williams, "it's difficult for a business to be in business 75 years especially in a small town, and the way we've done that is by great service, taking care of our customers, making the best deals possible and taking care of them after the deal."
Matt Dastrup, sales manager, adds, "it means a lot being around for 75 years owned locally it means a lot they're a mainstay in the community, they'll be here forever, and they do a lot for the community having been here so long."
Doug Nilsson, parts manager, agrees, "it's wonderful to have a product that we can be proud of. I enjoy selling parts for those vehicles, we've got a wonderful service department."
Despite being in business 75 years, the Goode Motor Company is not slowing down anytime soon.
Says Dastrup, "the dealership is growing tremendously they want to continue to grow and obviously grow their employees, giving them a future in the community and beyond".
Williams explains, "we've already expanded into the Sun Valley area, we own in Hailey, Idaho, that's been a very good opportunity."
75 years of serving Idaho and looking to continue the tradition for years to come.
