Grizzly Bear kills a hiker in Yellowstone
YELLOWSTONE, WYOMING (AP) Rangers are still searching for a grizzly bear that killed a Michigan hiker in Yellowstone National Park.
Park spokeswoman linda miller said that the bear has not been located. Officials say a grizzly bear killed 59 year old John Wallace, of Mich., last week along a trail about five miles from the nearest trailhead. Rangers have set traps with the intent to capture and kill the bear. It is the second time a park visitor has been killed by a bear this year. The first was by a mother bear protecting her cubs.
