Group Raising Money for Baxter's Park
Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Local dogs spent the day playing at Dierkes Lake.
The Magic Valley K–9 Social Club sponsored the Pooch Romp-n-Splash to help raise money for Baxter's Park. Dogs could play in the lake, run through the park or go through an agility course. The club is hoping to raise $10,000 dollars to put toward Twin Falls' first dog park. So far they've raised around $500. "Well, I think a dog park is something everybody in Twin Falls should be able to appreciate. They're dogs need to be able to get off leash and have fun. You can see all the dogs around here," said Steve Vawser, Magic Valley K-9 Social Club. If you'd like to donate to Baxter's Park contact the Twin Falls Community Foundation or the Magic Valley K–9 Social Club. Comments ( |
