Habitat For Humanity's Re-Store Growing Once Again
Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Habitat for Humanity is expanding its store in the Magic Valley. The organization is remodeling and moving the Re–Store to a new location across the driveway.
Habitat is all about recycling and reusing items. Many of the donations came from the old St. Luke's hospital and the new building was actually made out of the old Perrine Bridge.
With the move, the Re–Store will double in size, from just under 8,000 sq. feet to more than 16,000.
"Twice the store needs twice the volunteers so we need twice the help. If we can get the people here to help during the last week of the month to actually move into this location and then further on throughout the year and make it work," says Linda Fleming, Executive Director, Habitat for Humanity.
The Re–Store is open to the public Wednesday through Saturday.
This is the store's third time it doubled in size since opening in 2006.
