Hagerman Resident Succumbs To Injuries After Being Struck By A Vehicle

Boise, Idaho (KMVT-TV) The 86 Year old Hagerman resident who was hit by a vehicle on State Street Monday afternoon has succumb to his injuries. Kenneth Pearce passed away Tuesday November 13 at St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. He was seriously injured after he was struck by a car in Hagerman about 4:15pm Monday. Gooding county Sheriff Shaun Goff said Kenneth Pearce was crossing the road in the 100 block of State Street when he was struck by a car driven by 40 year old Joseph Marsh who was traveling north. According to police reports, Marsh claimed he did not see the pedestrian. Pearce was not in a marked crosswalk. He was transported to the Boise hospital with head injuries. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the accident. Sheriff Goff said that once his department’s investigation is complete, he will be turning it over to the prosecutor’s office.
