Hailey Elementary Wins Recycling Program
Hailey, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) One Wood River area school took home the top spot in the state for a nationwide recycling program called the “Recycle Bowl”.
Hailey Elementary was the winner in the State of Idaho, taking home a cash prize of a thousand dollars. Student there recycled almost 5 pounds of waste per child over a 4 week period. From October 15th through November 9th, participating schools recycled close to 4.5 million pounds across the U.S. Over 1,500 schools took part in the program with over 900,000 students participating.
