Handing Out Check For Community Health Improvements
Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV/ KTWT-TV ) Around 15 different non-profit organizations received substantial checks this Friday.
Thanks to the Community Health Improvement Fund sponsored by Saint Luke’s Hospital.
The C.H.I. fund is designed to give local health based non-profits a chance to help better their services.
Over the year, non-profits will apply for a chance to receive a check.
Once they apply a committee based at Saint Luke’s will choose who and where that money will go to.
Those who receive approval will on average bring home a check at around $10,000 each.
This Friday a luncheon was held at Saint Luke’s and the recipients of those checks were in attendance.
“First, as a not for profit organization just like the recipitants… were all in it together. Our mission is to improve the health of people in our region which is similar to all of the recipients. So it makes us feel good because of our partnership.
