Health Screening Offered For Diabetic Residents
Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) The Magic Valley diabetes coalition offered a special head to toe clinic for people with diabetes.
Screenings where held at the South Central Public Health District and included eye, foot, and dental exams, blood pressure screenings, and a nutrition education workshop. "It's really important that anyone diagnosed with diabetes gets these kinds of checkups” said Elvia Caldera, South Central Public Health District. The center of disease control and the Idaho diabetes prevention recommends people with diabetes receive screenings at least once a year. Comments ( |
