High Winds Expected This Afternoon

Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) The National Weather Service has issued High Wind Advisories for Gooding, Jerome and Twin Falls Counties. High Wind Warnings have been issued for Minidoka, Cassia, Lincoln and Blaine Counties.

A cold front that is moving across Southern Idaho this afternoon will produce strong winds and possible blowing dust. Wind gusts of 40-50 mph are possible in the Twin Falls and Jerome areas while gusts up to 60 mph are possible in Rupert and Burley.

As the cold front moves through late this afternoon moderate to heavy rain is also possible.
