Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) This past week, Santa Claus from the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City – came to the Magic Valley Mall in Twin Falls.
While many retailers see the bulk of their sales come in at this time of year, many shoppers try to get their shopping done as soon as possible.
Parking spaces are hard to find during the Christmas shopping season.
We talked to some shoppers about their experiences at the Magic Valley Mall.
I've seen a lot more stores, a lot more variety in the stores. A lot more for children, than just teens, adults, and stuff. That's more of what I've seen," says Brianna Anderson, a former retail worker.
Local shopper Martin Diaz adds, "I don't really go out that much to the mall. But when I do go, it's because I need something, I need to buy something. When I don't need something, I don't really head over there.
Anderson says she usually tries to avoid crowded and chaotic places when she's shopping.
She also say all of us need to be nice to sales people in the stores, because they're doing their best to help us at this time of year.
