Home Sales Booming In The Magic Valley

Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Home sales flopped in the month of June; an indication that the housing market may take longer than expected to recover.

But that's not the case in the magic valley.

"If your thinking about buying now is the time” said Susan Brown, Broker Magic Valley Realty.

Susan brown a Broker at Magic Valley Realty says 82-homes in the month of June sold in Twin Falls County and 386-homes have sold just this year.

"People are feeling better because interest rates are so phenomenally low you can get a 30-year for a 3 ½ or a 15-year of under 3%” said Susan Brown, Broker Magic Valley Realty.

Home sales across the nation fell to an annual pace of $350,000 down 8.4%from May.

"The average home sale for June, the median home sale was around $129,000 average home sale was around was around $147,000” said Debra Requa, Realtor Nelson Realty.

"I would say a majority of people can qualify there is some wonderful loan programs out there right now, and credit scores don't have to be perfect by any means” said Susan Brown, Broker Magic Valley Realty.
