A new passport program allows you to get in to all the state parks for a year for $10. Otherwise the day use fee is $5 per vehicle per trip. Two trips to the parks and it pays for itself. When you register your vehicle at the D.M.V. just ask them for a parks passport for $10. You can get two years for 20.
