Hundreds Chow Down On Crab To Support Basketball Program

By KMVT News

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Close to 600 people came out to support a local basketball program by eating some delicious crab Saturday night.

For the past nine years, the Bruins Boys Basketball program has held a crab feed.

The school orders 2,100 pounds of crab from Justin's Crab Company in Santa Rosa, California.

When the fundraiser was in its first year, roughly 200 people showed up. Since then, attendance has tripled.

And at $30 a ticket, the basketball program is definitely benefiting from the community's support.
