Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Hundreds are flowing through the parking lot of the South Central Community Action Partnership.

They're the recipients of turkeys donated by the community during 60 Hours to Fight Hunger.

About 500 families alone received their turkeys from the Twin Falls location.

And, as Leanne Trappen explains, for some it's been an emotional experience.

"We had a lady here this morning that was in tears, she was so grateful that we were able to provide that for her and her family," said Trappen, SCCAP.

The community donated more than 1,700 turkeys this year surpassing last year’s total by about 100.
