Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Faculty and staff in the Twin Falls School District will be receiving sizable bonuses for a job well–done.

Three hundred sixty principals, vice principals, counselors and more will receive pay for performance.

The bonus amounts range between $389 to over $4, 300.

It's all part of the statewide incentive program put in place with Proposition 2, which was repealed by Idaho voters on November 6th.

"Well, it's my hope that teachers know that all of us appreciate what they do and that was part of the plan was to let these teachers know that worked very hard that someone's watching and we're going give you some extra pay," said Ted Popplewell, Director of Elementary Education, Twin Falls School District.

Popplewell hopes pay for performance is one of the items that comes back to the table for discussion as education reform moves forward.
