Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) It's one of the best days of the year.
IHOP's National Pancake Day.
The best part about this pancake bonanza is IHOP's commitment to charity.
Since 2006, the restaurant chain has raised over 13 million toward nonprofit causes. This year's nationwide goal is three million.
Guests can come enjoy a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes...
And, if comfortable, they can make a donation which will go to Children's Miracle Network hospitals.
"When you get to your table, you can leave money in an envelope. That's it, nobody else," explains Tara Lowe, IHOP manager.
And if you're a little late on your pancake game, don't worry.
There is still a flipping frenzy at IHOP.
Syrups are stocked and doors will be open until midnight.
